About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.
What You'll Do
- →Prepare techniques to perform machining duties for other machinist.
- →Use machining methods in repairing components for maintenance mission components.
- →Apply a variety of metalizing processes to repair metal.
- →Use multiple fixtures common to the trade.
- →Perform machining work requiring the use of most non-conventional machine tools.
