You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Logistics Management Specialist, assigned to the Ocean Collections Division, Ocean Projects Department, Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
What You'll Do
- →You will effectively communicate technical and non-technical material, both orally and in writing.
- →You will develop documentation, briefing material, and correspondence.
- →You will be professional and demonstrate knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices of transportation, and warehousing to direct day-to-day operations.
- →You will direct and control ocean projects logistics planning that includes multiple partner commands and may include geographically separated detachments where no logistics management personnel are assigned.
- →You will manage, direct, develop, and implement policy programs and procedures for the accurate management of ocean projects logistic planning.
- →You will provide administrative and technical oversight to a lower-graded specialist.
