About the Role
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5), Position Description Number NGDT5903000 and is part of the TN 134th ARW Air National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-09, you will review and evaluate all operations, deployment, contingency and exercise plans to ensure mission readiness for the Logistics Readiness Squadron.
- →Develop, manage and control Logistics Readiness Squadron training and career development programs.
- →Compile and update status of Logistics Readiness Squadron, to include tracking and reporting of personnel, training, equipment and supplies.
- →Coordinate, develop and administer management training programs for supervisory personnel.
- →Develop local training programs to accommodate supply procedural changes, and coordinates changes to other career field areas as directed, to improve operational effectiveness when management indicators reflect potential trouble areas.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study.
- ✓If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
- ✓GS-09 COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
