About the Role
This position is located in ATO's Management Services, under the Directorate of Financial Services, Material Management & Procurement Group, ATO Space Management Team, AJG-R250. This Group provides the ATO centralized, cradle-to-grave contracts support, acquisition and management services, including financial and status reporting.
What You'll Do
- →This team is responsible for providing hands-on support, advice and technical assistance to managers in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO) on strategic space planning, tactical space logistics and procurement of associated services of all functional areas and organizations within the ATO.
- →As a Logistics Management Specialist applies analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to identify and resolve logistics and space management issues.
- →Performs multiple, varying and complex assignments under the minimal direction of the Team Manager or more experienced professional.
- →These activities are often vital to the success of larger projects and tasks for one or more business unit, organization and/or Line of Business (LOB).
- →As a contributing specialist, applies experience and comprehensive knowledge of the principles of program and project management to perform a wide range of duties related to office space & workstation planning, design and consultation services for user space needs and logistics.
- →Performs all aspects of space management services functions, including logistics support, telecommunications and information technology.
- →Coordinates building management and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) workplace safety inspections.
- →Works with the management and program analysts in obtaining analytical and evaluative data, necessary to standardize processes, streamline coordination and automate paperwork in assigned areas.
- →Supports both new and existing programs in meeting established goals and objectives for Management Services.
- →Performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of the team manager, project manager, or experienced senior professional.
- →Applies experience and comprehensive knowledge of space and logistics management to plan and accomplish assignments.
- →Typically, assignments will include, providing guidance to customers on orders, policies and procedures to ensure compliance; and recommending improvements to existing systems and processes.
- →Uses experience with automated systems such as ARCHIBUS, KSN/Sharepoint, FAVES, FSTS, USBank, and PRISM to track and analyze data to ensure compliance with orders, policies and procedures.
- →Contacts are internal and external to AJG.
