The primary purpose of this position is to function as an AMC logistics business process and system integration command technical logistics management specialist for the Directorate of Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection (referred to throughout this CDP as "Logistics").
What You'll Do
- →Serve as one of the Life Cycle Logistics functional and systems managers for integration and developing programs to implement the basic policy guidance from the Director of Logistics and Higher Headquarters.
- →Provides technical advice on the design, development, and maintenance of logistics management supportsystems; as well as serving as a technical advisor on A4 information technology contracts.
- →Plans, develops, implements and manages a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems supportstrategy, within total Life Cycle systems management encompassing acquisition, sustainment, and disposal.
- →Analyzes issues and makes recommendations on logistics policies not only applicable to Air Force, but alsoother components within DOD.
