This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic DIBF and MRTFB, NDAA 1125 (a) and (c) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Tooele Army Depot. This position serves as a working leader of employees in accomplishing trades and labor work.
What You'll Do
- →Checks work in progress and, when finished, checks for compliance with supervisor's instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines.
- →Maintains close liaison with commercial railroads receiving information.
- →Inspects, maintains, repairs, and improves railroad track and associated appurtenances.
- →Responsible for on-site coordination of train makeup, movement, and train crew activities including enforcement of safety rules, operating restrictions, track use requirements and work schedules.
