THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LINK UNIT MANAGER, Position Description Number T6387000 and is part of the KS 190 Air Refueling Wing, National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →As a LINK UNIT MANAGER, GS-0301-12, you will serve as the Link Unit Manager and technical expert/advisor for planning, coordinating and scheduling Tactical Data Link (TDL) operations, maintenance, and equipment for the Mobility Air Force (MAF) Wing.
- →Within the MPC, provides oversight of TDL activities pertaining to the assigned unit and Air Mobility Command (AMC) in accordance with the duties outlined in AFMAN 13-116.
- →Other duties as assigned.
- →Telework: ELIGIBLE FOR SITUATIONAL TELEWORK ONLY, INCLUDING EMERGENCY AND PRESCRIBED "UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK" Work Schedule: This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5 day workweek, then a 4 day workweek ( 8 nine-hour days and 1 eight-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80 hour pay period.
- →Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.
