The Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) serves as a member of the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP). The BHIP is a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals which provides comprehensive, accessible, Veteran-centered mental health care.
What You'll Do
- →Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor GS-11: Is the full performance level grade of the Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor.
- →Counselor must have at least one year of post-master's degree mental health counseling experience; or in addition to the basic requirements, a doctoral degree in mental health counseling, or a related field may be substituted for the required one year of professional mental health counseling experience.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm Telework: Ad-hoc Telework - VA supports the use of telework as a way to help attract and retain talented individuals in public service, increase worker productivity, and better prepare the agency to operate during emergencies.
- →This position may be authorized for telework.

Requirements
