The LPMHC is assigned to the Temple VA Mental Health Clinic (MHC) Team 100% time. The LPMHC applies psychological diagnostic methods and evidence-based intervention strategies to a full range of patient problems in their work setting. They have knowledge of psychological diagnosis, intervention, and behavioral health as it impacts and is impacted by health related conditions that qualifies them to provide advice and consultation to professionals representing a variety of disciplines.
What You'll Do
- →The Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) is assigned to the Temple VA Mental Health Clinic (MHC) Team 100% time.
- →The LPMHC applies psychological diagnostic methods and evidence-based intervention strategies to a full range of patient problems in their work setting.
- →They have knowledge of psychological diagnosis, intervention, and behavioral health as it impacts and is impacted by health related conditions that qualifies them to provide advice and consultation to professionals representing a variety of disciplines.
- →The primary job functions of LPMHC at this level include the provision of direct psychological patient care to veterans in an outpatient mental health setting.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen to apply for this job.
- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- ✓Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
