This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →This position is being filled under AcqDemo Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for non-acquisition positions involving 51% or more of time in direct support of acquisition positions within Business and Technical Management Professional Career path.
- →This position is part of the Department of Defense (DoD), Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
- →The incumbent will be responsible for serving as a Liaison Officer for the Directorate for International Security Cooperation & Assistance.
- →This position is part of a planned Transfer of Function (TOF) from the Missile Defense Agency to the Department of the Army.
- →This action is projected to be effective on or about October 1, 2026.
- →Exercise comprehensive program oversight by identifying and resolving potential problems, investigating bottlenecks, and implementing management controls to ensure program objectives are accomplished effectively and economically.
- →Represent the THAAD Program Manager in all interactions, including those involving significant or controversial issues, while planning and coordinating all meetings, official visits, and responses to information requests.
- →Provide direct oversight of government and contractor activities, establishing priorities and offering guidance to ensure the successful and integrated installation, maintenance, and operation of the in-country THAAD weapon system.
