What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position, you will serve as a Legal Assistant (OA) with the United States Attorney's Office, Middle District of Tennessee.
- →Position could be located in the Criminal or Civil Division of the office.
- →Duties will include, but are not limited to: Examining, preparing, and processing a variety of technical legal documents.
- →Maintaining calendar(s) of assigned attorney(s), tracking filings, hearings, and trial dates, scheduling appointments, conferences, and interviews.
- →Providing reminders of commitments and court appearances.
- →Assembling record material for court filings.
- →Assembling and organizing files and records material for disposition or transfer to records depository.
- →Arranging travel including but not limited to, scheduling flights, hotel reservations, and rental cars.
- →Producing a variety of written legal documents and materials using a wide range of office software applications.
- →Utilizing various software applications and graphics hardware.
- →Assisting attorneys in trial preparation.
