About the Position: Lead Telecommunications Specialist position in the Directorate of Engineering & Cyber, Wideband Control Test Division at Tobyhanna Army Depot.
What You'll Do
- →Develop feasibility studies in order to investigate, analyze and perform corrective actions affecting interruptions, equipment failures and interface and interference problems.
- →Provide network management, systems administration and technical services for automated systems.
- →Develop and recommend implementation of policies and procedures covering telecommunications requirements and specifications.
- →Ensure the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
- →Articulate and communicate to the team the assignment, project, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
- →Serve as technical point of contact for Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Wideband Systems and provide a support avenue for various base communications.
- →Maintain overall Software and Hardware Configuration for the Node, change passwords, and lead test events.
- →Plan and coordinate the test activities for the Independent Validation and Verification team members.
