You will serve as a LEAD PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS) in the PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the Planning and Estimating Team leader responsible for coordinating and reviewing, as well as writing technical work specifications for various shop trades.
- →You will review and screen incoming Planning section work requests for completeness and trade applicability, and determine the capability and availability of resources to accomplish tasking.
- →You will perform parts and material research to include utilizing various online logistics research resources and publications.
- →You will provide coaching, guidance, mentorship, facilitation, and oversight for all Planners under the Planning Division section assigned.
- →You will develop work specifications, estimates, and material requirements for scheduled ship availability periods and emergent work for the accomplishment of ship maintenance and repairs.
- →You will plan work packages and verify completed Planning section work packages to detail all aspects of job planning and execution requirements.
