What You'll Do
- →If you are selected, you will conduct investigative analysis and provide support on legal matters handled by the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.
- →You may perform assignments independently or as part of a team.
- →Typical work assignments will include: Supporting the supervision and management of the Early Case Assessment Section (ECAS) by helping implement plans, priorities, and goals established by the supervisor.
- →Organizing and coordinating assignments for the paralegal team and communicating work procedures, objectives, deadlines, and expectations.
- →Conducting specialized legal research for Assistant United States Attorneys involving legislative history, judicial precedents, case law, legal decisions, and law review materials related to intake and case-papering matters.
- →Reviewing and evaluating new and complex cases by analyzing case facts, investigative reports, evidence, and other relevant information to support case-processing decisions.
