About the Role
This position is located within the Business Office of the Birmingham Health Care System, serving as the Lead Medical Support Assistant located in Huntsville, AL. The Lead MSA performs duties related to the receipt, intake and indexing of health administrative and technical duties.
What You'll Do
- →Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Duties included, however, not limited to: Monitors and makes work assignments.
- →Provides input on performance.
- →Resolves daily workplace issues, and maintains efficient workflow.
- →Provides coverage of all areas of responsibility.
- →Conducts ongoing reviews to ensure quality of work.
- →Ensues accurate and timely scheduling of appointments.
- →Provides guidance to staff members to include changes in policies and procedures.
- →Distributes and balances workload.
- →Creates and maintains employee work schedules.
- →Orientates and provides on-the-job training for new and current employees.
- →Ensures all training requirements are met.
- →Organizes the work structure of his/her assigned areas.
- →Acts as liaison between MSA and staff in order to resolve day to day conflicts.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Not Authorized.
Requirements
