About the Role
This position is located at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the Mental Health Division.
What You'll Do
- →Ensuring accurate and timely scheduling of appointments; providing guidance to staff members to include changes in policies and procedures.
- →Orienting and providing on-the-job training for new and current employees.
- →Ensuring all training requirements are met; provides input on MSA performance to supervisor.
- →Maintain all clinic profiles within the Mental Health Division.
- →Work with providers to assure their clinic grids are updated regularly to reflect their current schedule.
- →Responsible for working with all providers throughout Mental Health to assure their encounters are complete.
- →Processing admissions, discharges, and Veteran/Patient transfers according to work-area procedures.
- →Assists veteran/patients to complete forms, questionnaires, and surveys.
- →Maintains medical records; sends forms from physician offices or other facilities for scanning; enters all work/key/move request orders for their area.
- →Timekeeping for staff in their assigned T&L's and is knowledgeable of all rules and regulations related to timekeeping; on/off boarding mental health staff.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
