About the Role
The purpose of this position is to serve as the Lead Human Resources Technician (OA) responsible for directing and guiding 3-5 Human Resources Technicians in GS-203-05 or military equivalent. Incumbent of this position provides technical expertise, guidance and leadership to the Processing Element of the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). This position will be filled on a permanent basis.
What You'll Do
- →Coach, facilitate, resolve work problems and participate in the work of the MEPS Processing Element.
- →Provide input to supervisor on performance, progress, and training needs of employees, and on disciplinary problems.
- →Perform Human Resources Assistant duties identical to those led.
- →Certifies that enlistment has been properly conducted by verifying system displayed contract is complete and all additional disclosed information has been supplied to the service representative.
- →Provide routine technical assistance or training to users of automated personnel database systems.
