- →PIH's mission is to provide low-income families affordable housing opportunities as they transition to self-sufficiency and homeownership.
- →PIH oversees the administration of HUD's Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, Section 8 Rental Assistance, and Native American Programs through a staff of Headquarters and Field employees.
- →The field structure for PIH consists of 29 Hub Offices and 16 Program Centers that provide oversight, direct monitoring, and coordination for approximately 4,200 public housing authorities.
- →As a Lead Grants Evaluation Specialist (Team Leader), you will: Ensure ONAP's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into team strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products.
- →Monitor and report on the status of work-in-progress and reviews completed work to ensure that the Division Director's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines, and quality are being met.
- →Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information as required, and coordinates the preparation, presentation, and communication of work related information to the Division Director.
- →Represent the AO Division Team in dealings with the Division Director for the purpose of obtaining resources such as overtime and compensatory time, and securing decisions on major work problems that arise.
Requirements
- ✓The official duty station for this position will be in Chicago, Illinois.
- ✓Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.

- ✓Citizen or U.S.
- ✓A probationary or trial period may be required.
- ✓Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period.
- ✓Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- ✓Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- ✓Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
