What You'll Do
- →Incumbent serves as an Firefighter-Paramedic and administers advanced life support emergency medical care to the sick or injured.
- →Provides on-the-job training to new employees and re-occurring training to all employees, EMT instructor training to instructors in accordance with established procedures, policies, SOPs, etc.
- →Performs fire suppression tasks to control and extinguish fires in a variety of structures and conditions.
- →Operates emergency response vehicles and related equipment to support fire, rescue, and medical operations.
- →Carry's out hazardous materials response duties by detecting, identifying, and controlling hazardous substances during emergency incidents.
- →Inspects facilities and work areas to identify fire hazards, verify compliance with safety requirements, and support fire prevention efforts.
