About the Role
You will serve as a LEAD FIREFIGHTER (BLS/HAZMAT OPS) in the FEDERAL FIRE DEPARTMENT/N23 of NAVAL AIR STATION LEMOORE.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform non-invasive emergency procedures: conduct initial and on-going patient assessment and physical examination, maintain airway, breathing circulation.
- →You will lead a crew of three or more firefighters and instruct them on specific tasks and firefighting techniques and will provide written instructions and/or reference materials and supplies.
- →You will direct the placement of firefighting equipment to ensure maximum utilization in fire control, aircraft crash, or rescue operations.
- →You will establish a safe perimeter around a hazardous material incident to protect self and others.
