This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.
What You'll Do
- →This Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist is in Central Processing and Phlebotomy section of the Pathology and Laboratory Service at the West Haven, CT VA Medical Center.
- →This position is a full-time at 40 hours per week.
- →The duties of the Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist GS-12 include but are not limited to: Communicates the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values.
- →Identifies, distributes, balances work, coaches, and facilitates with problem solving methods.
- →Prepares reports and maintains records of work status.
- →Acting as a liaison to the supervisor and other departments/divisions of the medical center for the appropriate laboratory specialty.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm (Rotating weekends and holidays) Telework: Not Available.
