What You'll Do

  • If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for the U.S.
  • Attorney's Office of South Dakota to serve as a specialist in the District's Law Enforcement Coordination Program.
  • The incumbent will plan and coordinate outreach to law enforcement as well as non-law enforcement communities, community representatives, public and private organizations, Indian Tribes and tribal representatives, members of the public and the throughout the district and beyond to build community engagement.
  • Typical work assignments will include: Maintains professional contacts with staff of federal, state, and local legal and law enforcement organizations to best accomplish the goals of the Department of Justice and the District Plans, coordinates and develops district LECC meetings.
  • Analyzes membership needs and interest and develops topics, schedules, and presentations to meet these needs Building partnerships with law enforcement and non-law enforcement organizations alike to accomplish U.S.
  • Attorney's Office objectives Serve as the point-of-contact for handling all requests for USAO involvement in an applicant's funding request, federal grant or otherwise.

Requirements

  • All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
  • Department of Education.
