This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This Position is located with: US ARMY IMCOM JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD DIRECTORATE OF PUBLIC WORKS OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE DIVISION BLDG&GROUND BR, GROUNDS
What You'll Do
- →Operate large, complex riding mowers with independently controlled cutting decks, hydraulic dump system and/or power flow material collection system.
- →Use a gas-powered trimmer to trim grass around buildings, sidewalks, trees, and shrubs.
- →Police buildings, grounds, and lake areas pick up trash and debris, pulls weeds, waters grass, and flower beds and rakes leaves.
- →Operate up to 1-ton pick-up truck to transport materials such as beauty bark and topsoil in and around the installation.
- →Use a high-powered pressure washer for cleaning sidewalks, building exteriors, and other facilities.
