This position is located at: Golf Course - Fort Polk, LA. This vacancy is in conjunction with the FMWR Job Fair on Wed, 07/29/26. Walk-ins will be accepted 9-11 am, interviews will be conducted 11-1 pm. The event will be held at the ACS Building #920 (920 Bell Richard Ave.) Applicants who attend this event will be given priority consideration. What You'll Do
- →Perform heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more.
- →Performs general maintenance of NAF facilities requiring use of heavy powered equipment and heavy tools.
- →Tasks may include digging ditches, cutting trees using axes and chain saws, and lawn maintenance on grades and slopes.
- →Resets nails, replaces hardware, relocate playgrounds, flowerbeds and portable structures.
- →Advises facility director of potential safety hazards and identifies repairs required.
- →Knowledge of the processes, which require remembering directions and/or sequences be, required.
- →Knowledge and skill in the operation, control, and cleaning of heavy, power equipment lawn mowers, chain saws, jackhammers).
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
