About the Position: This position is located in San Antonio, Texas, with the Defense Health Agency. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those new to Federal service. Leave accrual negotiation may be available for those new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Provides project oversight, scope, schedule, budget, and problem solving.
- →Works with the project team to support planning, developing, testing, and implementation of new systems in support of the medical information IT systems.
- →Ensures all actions necessary for development or major modifications to systems are properly managed and controlled.
- →Conducts IT project scope analysis using input from customers and suppliers.
- →Collaborates with stakeholders to provide life cycle cost estimates and risk mitigation procedures.
- →Performs configuration management to support hardware and software developments and modifications.
- →Documents IT project specifications, explains variations, and recommends corrective measures for current or future projects.
