What You'll Do
- →As an IT Specialist (Systems Administration), you will perform the following duties: Serve as a Systems Administrator for the Information Management Office (IMO), responsible for the installation, operation, management and utilization of Information Technology (IT) systems and software/hardware solutions.
- →Identify and implement procedures to resolve diagnostic, monitoring and performance issues.
- →Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the infrastructure systems.
- →Provide expertise on guidelines and processes concerning the operation, implementation and use of information technology systems, services, and activities.
- →Serve as a technical authority providing advice on IT methodology and techniques.
- →Lead and manage IT projects, collaborate with IT and business teams assessing new technologies, methods, and approaches to modernize and improve existing Infrastructure solutions.
- →CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: Must be able to obtain and maintain Microsoft Windows Systems Administration certification.

Requirements
- ✓This position will be filled under the DOC Alternative Personnel System (CAPS).
- ✓Under CAPS, positions are classified by career, pay plan, and pay band.
- ✓The ZP-4 is equivalent to the GS-13/14.

- ✓Suitable for Federal employment, as determined by background investigation.
