What You'll Do
- →You will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC/SYSADMIN) in the EXTERNAL SUPPORT (N9), Makalapa Tech Control (N94), Makalapa VTC (N946) of NAVAL COMPUTER AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS AREA MASTER STATION, PACIFIC (NCTAMS PAC).
- →You will maintain information assurance posture through provided tools (Host Based Security System- HBSS, Windows Service Update Service – WSUS, antivirus software, etc).
- →You will provide 24x7 operations, hardware/software configuration and maintenance support for the Unified Capabilities (UC) network and all Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VOSIP) assets installed within NCTAMS PAC space.
- →You will oversee installation of Unified Capabilities equipment.
- →You will be responsible for the operation and troubleshooting of UC equipment and Local Area Network (LAN) and Integrated Service Digital Network based equipment to maintain Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and VOSIP capability.
- →You will provide administrative assistance in the scheduling, planning, and coordination of VTCs for all assigned equipment.
- →You will maintain physical security and assist in the Communications Security (COMSEC) supervisory roles, as required.
