This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in the Headquarters, US European Command (EUCOM), C4/Cyber Directorate, Chief Information Office Division, Cybersecurity Branch, responsible for the cybersecurity of command programs, organizations, and systems.
What You'll Do
- →Provide consultation to program managers with network/computer security and risk management planning, and management and technical oversight for the certification of associated computer hardware/software resources.
- →Provide cybersecurity expertise in the areas of vulnerability management, resource programming and execution, incident management, training and certification, and regulation/policy authoring, enforcement, and interpretation.
- →Manage and administer the Risk Management Framework (RMF) program within the HQ.
- →Provide consultation to program managers with network/computer security and risk management planning, strategic planning, and management.
- →Provide cybersecurity expertise in the areas of vulnerability management, resource programming and execution, incident management, training and certification, and regulation/policy authoring, enforcement, and interpretation.
