As a IT Spec (Platform Engineer/Infrastructure Architect) at the GS-2210-13/14, you will be part of Office of the Chief Information Officer, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will design, implement, modernize, and govern enterprise platform, cloud, automation, and infrastructure capabilities that support secure, scalable, resilient, and reusable IT services across the agency.
What You'll Do
- →Design, implement, and maintain enterprise platform environments across on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructure.
- →Support AI-enabled platform capabilities, including model deployment, inference, operational integration, and related infrastructure services.
- →Develop and maintain automation, infrastructure as code, policy as code, and configuration management solutions.
- →Implement container platforms, orchestration environments, monitoring, logging, observability, and telemetry tools.
- →Apply cybersecurity, Zero Trust, identity and access, system hardening, vulnerability management, and secure software supply chain practices.
- →Provide technical recommendations, guidance, and implementation approaches to stakeholders, developers, system owners, and project teams.
- →Perform troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, reliability improvements, and continuity or recovery support for platform services.
