The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB) is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Security Architect). This Job Opportunity Announcement (JOA) may be used to fill other IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Security Architect), GS-2210-14, positions within the FRTIB in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
What You'll Do
- →Ensures that the delivery of new systems developed, acquired, or implemented within FRTIB meets the baseline cybersecurity requirements defined by the IT Security Management Division (ITSMD).
- →Provides expert subject matter expertise on new and ongoing multi-year cybersecurity projects.
- →Participates in and provides expert technical advice and guidance on cybersecurity strategic program planning and budgeting.
- →Provides management and oversight of cybersecurity platform operations and maintenance, including directing and implementing secure change and configuration management.
- →Oversee cybersecurity work on contracts, acting as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or advising the COR.
- →Ensuring that new systems developed, acquired, or implemented within FRTIB meet the baseline cybersecurity requirements defined by ITSMD.
Requirements

- ✓All qualification requirements must be met by 07/06/2026.

- ✓Transcripts may be unofficial copies, but they must come from an accredited college or university, and they also must include course names and the number of credit / semester hours.
