About the Position: This position is located at: Department of War Education Activity DoWEA-Americas Mid-Atlantic District Description of the Working Environment: Work is performed in an office setting.
What You'll Do
- →Provide coaching (both in-person and virtually) to World Language grades 6-12 educators/educational leaders.
- →Guide leadership/leadership team(s) in the school-wide implementation planning (this includes professional development, time for job-embedded learning, and scheduling).
- →Foster professional practice improvement of teachers in a World Language grades 6-12 learning environment.
- →Implement World Language grades 6-12 instruction within student-centered learning environments (such as the physical space, academic, social, and emotional learning opportunities, and daily structure).
- →Advise educators in leveraging interpreted data to improve teaching effectiveness.
Requirements
- ✓Foreign Degrees and Course Work from Non-accredited Institutions.
- ✓Foreign Degrees and Course Work from Non-accredited Institutions.
- ✓Credits or degrees earned from a foreign college or university must be evaluated prior to acceptance.
- ✓Three evaluation procedures are acceptable: a.
- ✓The work must be evaluated and interpreted by a current member of National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
- ✓This website provides a list of current organizations who can perform your evaluation.
- ✓You must select and work directly with one of these organizations. b.
- ✓The work may be evaluated by the graduate division of a regionally accredited university and declared the equivalent of similar undergraduate or graduate work in a U.S. institution.
- ✓Graduates of non-accredited institutions may have their undergraduate work validated by admittance to graduate school and completion of a minimum of 5 SH of credit in a regionally accredited graduate college.
