About the Role
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia serves as both the local and the federal criminal prosecutor for the nation's capital. It also has a Civil Division that defends the United States in civil suits brought against the United States and enforces various civil laws against fraud and misconduct, including the False Claims Act. The Civil Division is seeking an investigator to support the Office's affirmative civil enforcement investigations.
What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia conducting thorough and systematic investigations of a highly complex and difficult nature in support of affirmative civil enforcement.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
