About the Role
You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Physical Scientist/Oceanographer/Geophysicist within the Ocean Products Division (N91), Ocean Projects Department (N9), of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
What You'll Do
- →You will interface with major U.S.
- →Department of Defense staffs, Department of State, U.S.
- →Coast Guard, Embassies and Defense Attaches, foreign governments, and various sponsor related agencies.
- →You will obtain approval for survey operations, promoting cooperation, and exchanging information and ideas among these organizations.
- →You will assure that remedial actions are taken and monitors such actions until correction of the casualty is achieved.
- →You will perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants who qualify on the basis of major study in biology or geology must have had at least 6 semester hours in the major directly concerned with marine science or 6 semester hours in oceanography; applicants who qualify on the basis of other physical sciences or engineering must have had differential and integral calculus and at least 6 semester hours in physics.
