What You'll Do
- →This is an Engineering Technical Lead that provides technical and administrative management of both in-house and Architect-Engineer (A-E) contractor-designed projects for construction, maintenance, alteration, and repair, as well as special projects.
- →Serves as technical project lead, manages scope, schedule, resources, and quality, advises on issues, ensures timely completion, reports progress, and reviews documents for compliance with policy and regulations.
- →Coordinates Scope of Work development, gathers requirements, meets with customers, collaborates with specialists, ensures technical adequacy, reviews cost estimates, and delivers complete projects within time and budget.
- →Monitors and coordinates in-house design for accuracy, compliance, and schedule; liaises with clients, tracks funding, conducts progress meetings, and reviews design submittals for completeness.
- →Solves and advises on complex project management issues, negotiates scope changes, evaluates project direction, coordinates with stakeholders, and leads teams through challenging design, scheduling, and contract problems.
- →Provides engineering advice across divisions and agencies, mediates technical issues, assists with contract interpretation, and reviews the work of less experienced Technical Leads for accuracy and guidance.
