About the Position: This is an Interdisciplinary Engineer GS-13 position with US Army Engineer District, Little Rock Operations Division Hydropower Support Branch. This position can be filled in one of the following series: 0830 & 0850. Position will be filled at one of the four locations on the advertisement.
What You'll Do
- →The Senior SCADA Engineer performs critical plant engineering functions at hydropower pumped storage facilities, focusing on the Operations and Maintenance of related equipment for the Hydropower Branch, Little Rock District Operations Division.
- →Facilitates and coordinates with superintendent/specialists, SWD, HDC, design, construction and operations engineers for phasing of work at hydroelectric plants within the district.
- →Prepares, implements, and maintains the Hydropower Customer Program Management Plan to guide all aspects of the program in accordance with the USACE Project Management Business Process.
- →Serves as the point of contact of hydropower for Little Rock District interacting with District staff.
- →Serves on various committees and professional organizations providing information, communication and coordination of hydropower activities and projects in the District.
