This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Reliability Compliance Engineer (RCE) for the project responsible for planning, developing, and executing a reliability compliance program.
What You'll Do
- →Updates Project CAD drawings to reflect changed conditions or as built.
- →Works from marked-up prints, sketches, formal and informal notes.
- →Works with technical Subject Matter Experts both within and external to the organization to develop mitigation plans to resolve operational deficiencies.
- →Conceives and directs project test programs, develops test procedures to determine operating characteristics, collects operating data, and analyzes results to determine adequacy and/or reason for equipment malfunctions.
- →Serves as the Reliability Compliance Engineer (RCE) for North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) standards.
- →Plans, develops, and implements the Project’s Reliability Compliance Program.
- →Interprets and implements Federal policy and regulations in managing the Reliability Compliance Program.
- →Represents the project at meetings and conferences concerning reliability compliance and related technical matters.
- →Performs engineering work and coordinates any proposed modification of design to existing equipment and systems.
- →Reviews engineering and design work to determine potential effects on Reliability Compliance Program.
