About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade, 781st Military Intelligence Battalion, located at Fort Meade, Maryland
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a Cryptologic Cyberspace Operations Specialist/Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA) for the 780th MI BDE, 781st MI BN.
- →Conducts computer (network and infrastructure) analysis to enable Cyber Warfare effects in support of national and theater intelligence requirements.
- →Leverages information derived from a variety of Computer Network Defense and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) resources to identify events that occur or may occur on computer networks.
- →Performs initial and advanced analysis to establish target identification and operational patterns.
- →Exploits media and investigates computer security incidents.
- →Operates automated data processing (ADP) equipment for analysis, processing and reporting.
- →Develops, maintains, and reviews analytic working aids and databases to support target collection, identification, and location.
- →Performs analysis in support of Cyber Network Operations and Cyber Warfare plans, strategies and operations for the control and application of cyber capabilities.
- →Provides support to planning activities which include threat research and analysis, all-source fusion, threat documentation, defining intelligence requirements, collection management facilitation, interagency collaboration and coordination.
- →Assists with integrating Cyberspace Operations capabilities into operations/exercise design and integrating/synchronizing Cyber-related effects.
