Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Intelligence, Intelligence Enterprise Training Academy (IETA), located in Harpers Ferry, WV. What You'll Do
- →In this position, you will serve as an expert Intelligence Operations Specialist (IOS), specializing in providing intelligence specific training and instruction for CBP employees, in the field of intelligence.
- →Incumbent provides in-depth training, as well as develops and implements intelligence-based curriculum to be used throughout the Intelligence Enterprise Training Academy (IETA).
- →This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10).

- →Major Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Delivering instruction relating to all aspects of unclassified and classified systems exploitation, research, analysis, and intelligence production.
- →Maintaining subject matter expertise in application of CBP and DHS Intelligence Enterprise authorities and Intelligence Community Directives; intelligence and systems exploitation processes to support law enforcement operations; the application of all associated intelligence collection, evaluation and dissemination processes to support CBP operations.
- →Supporting the design and development of CBP intelligence training courses.
- →Applying safeguarding procedures and proper handling techniques when working with classified and sensitive but unclassified information.
