About the Role
You will serve as a INSTRUMENT MECHANIC in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, ELECTRICAL SHOP of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will receive assignments from the supervisor concerning the priority of systems or devices to be repaired.
- →You will comply with all environmental, security, safety, and administrative requirements.
- →You will conduct bench tests; adjusting and calibrating instruments.
- →You will disassemble instruments/components; inspecting for worn or damaged parts.
