About the Role

You will serve as an INSTRUMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR in code 137.1, the Calibration Laboratory Branch Region Metrology Division, Quality Assurance Office of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

What You'll Do

→You will supervise and oversee the work and performance of lower-level employees.
→You will plan the sequence of operations.
→You will provide training to lower-level employees.
→You will maintain records and/or furnish information regarding such matters as daily distribution to the force.
→You will perform a wide range of personnel management matters.
→You will supervise instrument mechanics assigned to perform work in various calibration lab work sites as well as work sites aboard vessels and other specified work areas.
