About the Role
About the Position: This position falls under the DoDEA HQ Education Directorate of Elementary Education Division - located at the Mark Center Building in Alexandria, VA. This position is not covered by a bargaining unit.
What You'll Do
- →Lead strategic, research-based PK–5 literacy program planning by providing PK-5 literacy expertise, aligning goals, resources, and data to improve student achievement for a globally positioned Direct program implementation and continuous improvement by monitoring performance and using data to strengthen PK-5 literacy curriculum and instruction.
- →Develop and implement PK-5 literacy program policy while engaging stakeholders and providing subject matter expertise to ensure consistent execution.
- →Oversee procurement, resource management, contracting officer representative duties and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and fiscal requirements to resource PK-5 literacy instructional resources for elementary literacy programs.
- →Lead development and delivery of data-driven professional learning to build capacity and improve PK-5 literacy instructional and assessment practices.
