What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team serving as a Receptionist in the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Ohio.
- →Typical work assignments will include, but are not limited to: Receiving incoming telephone calls and visitors entering the office to provide necessary information and establish contacts with appropriate departments.
- →Responding to internal and external inquiries, providing general information regarding office programs.
- →Receiving, reviewing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
- →Coordinating with office staff to ensure coverage of daily operations.
- →Monitoring and maintaining miscellaneous data files.
- →Maintaining adequate levels of mailing and shipping supplies.
- →Providing pedestrian courier services to deliver and retrieve documents and other case-related material between federal agencies.
- →Assisting with other administrative functions as assigned by the supervisor.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
Requirements
- ✓All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education.
- ✓For a list of schools that meet this criteria, see http://www.ed.gov OR Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above education requirements if you can show that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
