About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at the 75th Medical Group, Hill Air Force Base in Utah. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Administer the Military Treatment Facility’s Infection Prevention and Control Program (ICP), including policy and procedure development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and liaising with internal and external committees.
- →Advise leadership on program resources, equipment, personnel, and practice improvements.
- →Apply epidemiologic principles and data analysis to track, trend, monitor, and prevent infections.
- →Implement Infection Control Risk Assessments, and risk reduction and error prevention strategies to reduce Healthcare-Associated Infections and improve patient care.
- →Develop Infection Prevention and Control education and training for the Medical Treatment Facility’s staff.
