The Industrial Hygienist position is within the VISN 1 Director's office and is assigned to the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 1, New England Healthcare System. This position is permanent and full-time at 40 hours per week. Location negotiable within VISN 1, upon selection.
What You'll Do
- →The incumbent serves as the network Industrial Hygienist for the VA New England Healthcare System providing safety program management, planning, network oversight, standardization and coordination of program activities and staff education as well as training network wide.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Compressed/Flexible: Not available.
- →Telework: Available on an ad-hoc basis only upon the supervisor's discretion.
- →Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
- →Position Description/PD#: Industrial Hygienist/PDS03877-0 Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized.
- →Critical Skills Incentive (CSI): Not authorized.
- →Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not authorized.
