About the Role
About the Position: This is a Industrial Hygienist, GS-0690-13 position with the USACE Little Rock District, Safety & Occupational Health Office. Selectee may be place in either Little Rock, Arkansas OR Louisville, Kentucky.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a technical expert and authority for industrial hygiene involving hazardous or toxic materials.
- →You will serve as the safety technical advisor on accidents requiring a Board of Investigation.
- →You will evaluate the effectiveness of the contractor’s safety and occupational health program.
- →You will ensure legal compliance with applicable safety and occupational health and environmental laws.
- →You will develop and conduct training courses and presentations for both employees within and outside the organization.
- →You will represent organization as a member of professional committees, boards, and panels dealing with occupational health matters and the application of federal health standards.
