About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Clinical Support, Dept of Preventive Medicine Industrial Hygiene # 1 This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Develop a comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Implementation Plan for the medical treatment facility to eliminate health hazards.
- →Perform special studies to support the development of office policy and the application of new or existing policies.
- →Schedule and conduct industrial hygiene surveys to determine compliance with current federal regulations.
- →Participate in developing controls to minimize or eliminate actual or potential health hazards in collaboration with other specialists across various military facilities.
- →Recommend control measures to reduce hazardous environmental conditions within the facilities.
- →Utilize appropriate equipment to determine compliance or noncompliance with current industrial hygiene and occupational health standards.
- →Review constructions pans for ew construction and/or renovation to identify any potential occupational hazard
