About the Position: This position is located at Martin Army Community Hospital; within Directorate of Clinical Support Department of Radiology at Fort Benning, Ga. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Conducts periodic surveys of working conditions to determine the nature and magnitude of hazardous exposures and effectiveness of existing control measures.
- →Plans and conducts complete evaluations of work operations involving potentially hazardous environmental conditions.
- →Investigates reported health problems affecting workers.
- →Investigates radiological health hazards for the safe-guarding of personnel exposed to ionizing radiation.
- →Utilizes a number of radiation monitoring techniques.
- →Conducts health education training designed to educate the activity's personnel as to means of preventing occupational disease and their role in controlling hazards.
- →Utilizes standard chemical and physiological sampling techniques and procedures.
