About the Role
This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration in Portfolio Execution (TIPE), Project Portfolio Management (TIP) and Portfolio Integration & Decision Support (TISI), Strategy & Planning (TIS), Transmission Infrastructure Asset Management (TI), Transmission Services (T), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). A successful candidate in the Industrial Engineer position will serve as an industrial engineer responsible for modeling and evaluating resource demand and capacity planning.
What You'll Do
- →As an Industrial Engineer, you will: Design and maintain the resource demand and capacity model to support Transmission Services resource and capacity planning decision-making processes.
- →Develop theoretical demand and capacity models to identify and design efficient demand and capacity planning approaches.
- →Prepare and delivers proposals and recommendations to optimize demand and capacity planning processes and systems.
- →Identify and analyze demand and capacity planning drivers to continuously improve forecasting models and techniques.
- →Retrieve and aggregates information and data to optimize resource utilization and planning models.
- →Study work and production methods, tests modifications, and designs and proposes new methods and processes to improve resource and capacity planning systems.
