As an Immigration Services Analyst, you will perform various duties related to the analysis of immigration records management and contract oversight, including researching, interpreting, and applying records and contract policies and regulations to ensure accountability, timeliness, and completeness.
What You'll Do
- →The responsibilities described are for the full performance level.
- →At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.
- →Directly supports the administrative and operational aspects of USCIS management and program operations, by performing a variety of systematic evaluations in support of management and program analysis functions and processes.
- →Monitors and evaluates the contractor quality control programs through inspections, contractor production reports, customer feedback forms, recurring and special statistical analysis; recommends solutions regarding contractor performance.
- →Works independently to control and maintain installed administrative and information management systems relating to record operations, mail, directives, and cost benefits relating to contract processes.
- →Reviews status of inquiries and provides accurate information in a timely manner that support the efficiency of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services' mission.
- →Performs research, identifies trends, and conducts studies which involve the search and examination of immigration records and databases.
Requirements
- ✓Conditions of Employment: You must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or U.S.
- ✓Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S.
- ✓Citizenship and Immigration Services.
- ✓This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S.
- ✓Federal or Military employee serving overseas.
- ✓Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a probationary period of 1 year.
- ✓COMBINING QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: If you do not qualify based on experience or education alone, you may be able to qualify based on a combination of your experience and education.
