As an Immigration Services Analyst, you will be charged with translating the laws, regulations, policies, and/or practices of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services for millions of individuals every year.
What You'll Do
- →Provide guidance and make recommendations on policies, procedures, and processes related to records processing and contract oversight.
- →Manage production data for internal and field units.
- →Conduct outreach to stakeholder groups, responds to and manages expedite adjudication requests from USCIS field offices, and manages and appropriately distributes and/or resolves help desk inquiries.
- →Provides asset management, human resources, security, facility and other mission/operational support or guidance, as needed.
- →Coordinates and implements management information systems that focus on long-and short-range plans, policies and programs related to goals and priorities established by statutes, executive orders, DHS, Program Managers, and/or supervisors.
Requirements
- ✓Conditions of Employment: You must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or U.S.
- ✓Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S.
- ✓Citizenship and Immigration Services.
- ✓This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S.
- ✓Federal or Military employee serving overseas.
- ✓Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a probationary period of 1 year.
- ✓COMBINING QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: If you do not qualify based on experience or education alone, you may be able to qualify based on a combination of your experience and education.
